Digital X-Rays
Digital radiographs, along with a visual exam, are part of a comprehensive oral evaluation, necessary to diagnose any issues and develop an appropriate treatment plan. During your routine checkup at Kiss Dental, we will take several x-rays that will allow us to diagnose possible presence of any anomalies, gum disease and/or dental caries.
Digital X-rays also allow us to look at teeth from different angles, which makes it easier to see caries hidden between teeth or under fillings. They help us diagnose problems more accurately than traditional X-rays, while emitting far less radiation than their film counterparts.
At Kiss Dental, we make sure to take every precaution necessary, to ensure you are always protected. Use of protective gear, like lead aprons is a standard of care while taking dental images. The images can be seen immediately on the computer screen.
